Music is habit forming, I grew up hearing from different genres. From Grandma's standard songs,Sinatra,Jones.Mathis. Etc...to Abba//80s Rick James,Hip Hop,Rock,Alternative,POP RnB. We all have are soundtrack to life. I remember watching this movie August Rush,story of a musical prodigy who is in search of his parents. Who are both gifted musicians unravelling the story in the end finds what most connected them. What else?! Music. Since I move to the States six months ago, I notice that radio stations here are stale with their selection.

Pre-program tracks heard over and over. I wanted to choke Adele,Rolling in the Deep played a Gazillion times a day, now making her number one in the Billboard hot track for 16th week now. Katy Perry tracks now and then. All commercial success. i just wanna stop. Shifted now to internet radio,nonstop digital music.


                                             

   
I would also recommend sites like SOUNDCLOUD, i-heart radio and there could be probably some free apps from your Apple or Android market. Tracks on my repeat playlist includes The Black Keys: El Camino album

It's been awhile since the last time I wrote on my blog. I must have been off the hook from reality, I admit I have become not myself lately or pretty much delusional. Drinking has taken its toll on me. Shots of whiskey accompany me every night and nowadays on broad daylight. I may not have started this writing again, I was just looking for my mom's picture to be posted on Facebook for Mother's day yet still I found you on our picture albums and made me shed a tear again. Oh God when will this episode be over. Yeah! I know its a long time when we fell apart. Some things were said and done but you leaving for giving no exact reason is so unbearable and hurtful. Friends say that I should move on... I guess Time will heal all wounds soon. Hopefully soon.. Coz I want to get back on track! I'm not me Nowadays. But a man torn apart. Good Bye!

Two weeks back I have seen this movie on its opening day in Manila. As a movie fan, I love alien movies, but quite disappointed with this film. It was a cross between Independence Day/War of the Worlds/Aliens twisted in one genre. Humans were abducted after seeing the light from the sky(as the title suggest) then would eat your brains out and eventually becoming them. And the silliest part   is that the main character became an alien as well,and trying to save her pregnant girlfriend from the alien pit craft. Come on writers! Give us a good storyline. The trailer was so convincing for me to watch. 5 out of 10 rating.
