Up Yours!

Did you bother to ask why do people give you the middle finger?

It is identified as the digitus impudicus (impudent finger) in Ancient Roman writings[1] and reference is made to using the finger in ancient Greek comedy to insult another person. The widespread usage of the finger in many cultures is likely due to the geographical influence of the Roman Empire and Greco-Roman civilization. Another possible origin of this gesture can be found in the first-century Mediterranean world, where extending the digitus impudicus was one of many methods used to divert the ever-present threat of the evil eye.  (So this gesture its quite ancient and we continue to disseminate our moral angst up to now.)

In Western culture, the finger (as in giving someone the finger), also known as the middle finger, the highway salute, the bird (as in flicking, flipping or flying the bird), or to flip someone off, is an obscene hand gesture, often meaning the phrase "fuck you" or "up yours"

They are no exception either you're a celebrity, punk rocker, young, old or a commoner.  As long as your piss! Just give it a sign, one way how you show your angst without being violent aggression.  In different countries a show of these sign can create a different meaning.  So I suggest you don't flaunt such signal of revelry joke.

In North America it is performed by showing the back of the hand, extending the middle finger of the hand upwards while bending the other fingers down into the palm. In Britain and some other English speaking countries, it is performed with two fingers - a 'V sign' with palm inwards.

So these are the meaning of the gesture. Now I'll leave you a song from Ceelo Green titled  "Fuck You"
